I´m deleting a part of you from facebook

An Experiment in Learning to Connect Through Disconnecting, Deletting Go.

I´m not deleting you. Im deleting a part of you from facebook... see you in the real world, good waves

Between 22nd August 2011 and the 5th November 2011, I am deleting my facebook account, sytematically at a rate of 6 people per day until finally deleting my account.

It is an experiment in connectedness.

I am as connected to the people I have met in my life that are not connected through facebook as the ones that I am.

Six people on a train, each texting somebody different without acknowledging the inherent connection to the others present in the now, shows that its not the connection that is important but that you are seen to have one. Facebook validifies your existence because you are visable and the more friends or likes you have the more visable you become, but what is important is invisable to the eye.
